FAKE!!!!

Yesterday, we have discovered that we have a counterfeit $20 bill.
It was heared that counterfeit money was circulating in the island country. Local shopping centers and supermakets have become vigilant in checking the authenticity of the dollar bills they receive from customers as payment for items purchased. These careful inspection has led to some including us, the use of the counterfeit money detector pen that can be bought at the local office supplies store for like $6.00 a piece.
Where the suspected counterfeit money came from, we don't really know. Although the front desk officers at the hotel may have failed to check the bill the time it was received or that it was included in the change that my boss receives when supplies are purchased on a daily basis.
You'd probably say, we we're still in luck since it was only $20, point is how many counterfeit $20 bills are circulating right now? Perhaps, we'll never know.

Just today we have received a call informing us that there will be 2-week extention of power outages in Palau. As published on the newspapers, PPUC's three small power engines in Malakal Plant are down as well as one engine in Aimeliik Plant. The remaing engines that are operating generates a total of about 10 megawatts, not enough to supply the whole of Palau which consumes about 11 megawatts on peak hours.
A new power outage rationing schedule has been sent. Ikelau hamlet, where Palau Hotel is located is scheduled to experience power interruption from 9:00pm - 1:00 am for the next two weeks or until further notice. Palau Hotel has recently purchased a new power generator to supply temporary power to the whole building.

It was reported that PPUC has procured for new parts that would be used to replace the broken ones on the power engines, but it would take a few more weeks for it to arrive in Palau, however PPUC is doing what they can to speed up the arrival of such parts.
